It also suggests that the traditional notion of intelligence is based on I.Q. tests, which he believes are far too limited. We will also discuss the traditional notion of one single type of intelligence, known as the general intelligence, which focuses on cognitive abilities. We will introduce Gardiner\u2019s eight different types of intelligence, but we will focus on logical math, linguistic, naturalist, spatial and interpersonal intelligence. We would like to see how these five intelligences in particular relate to computer science, business, technology, education, and mathematics majors and professions. The main applications of our project will be understanding the theory and comprehending how this theory can help recognize one&#8217;s own strengths.
